I then found two more student videos which I think are very effective in matching with the myrics and one is very effective in terms of visual effects.
The first video is very effective in terms of visual effects. The 4 parts of the screen is an effective way to attract the audience and matches well with the upbeat song. This is a good effect and maybe something like this would be a good effect to use in my video. After watching the video for a while, text is added to go with the 4 separate videos.
The four separate videos each explain a different part of the story, for example there is a girl's feminine eye with the text 'She cast her spell', along with the girl drinking a drink with a straw, the singer's lips singing and the singer from a mid shot, and these are all happening simultaneously. I think this is a great effect and is helpful in terms of explaining the song. There is also another picture above to again show the 4 different things happening simultaneously during the song.
